Notes from 1 Peter 1:13-21
Review
In verses 1-12, Peter lays the
groundwork for the rest of the letter.
He reminds the churches he is writing to that their salvation and its
benefits have been purchased and secured by the very power of God. Because God Himself is making their salvation
sure, they can look beyond the suffering and trials of this world to the world
to come and stand firm in their faith.
